We stayed in a guest house which we stumbled upon through laterooms.com and it was even nicer than we were expecting, especially since it didn't cost much at all - Edinburgh Regency Guest House if you're wondering, and we'd both highly recommend it! It was definitely the perfect walking distance from the main areas, even when we were using a map in the cold and dark whilst carrying all of our stuff!
We arrived late Friday night, so starting Saturday morning we visited everything we could think of...
Self explanatory, interesting but probably wasted on two teenagers lacking artistic knowledge
Definitely more our scene
Might even say it's better than Newcastle's Hancock
But there's always a bit of Newcastle everywhere you go!
To show how time is a concept decided by the individual, for example the older you get the faster time goes
the seventh floor roof terrace views were amazing
Classic castle shot, definitely a city with great views
bathroom shot before heading out
After all that exploring and good look around the shops, we headed back to change then out for a meal and to finally see Skyfall (which was excellent) for details on where we ate see Jordan's blog, day two coming soon...
